This backyard garden makeover was one of our favourites. The owner longed for a native garden and bush feel for their backyard that would also compliment the pool area.

We extended the paved area around the pool using a contrasting paver and edged the paved area with natural sandstone. We used gravel paths and old sleepers as steps and bridges throughout the garden and replaced the existing turf with Sir Walter Buffalo. A dry creek bed was created through the garden and native plants such as Kangaroo Paw, Gymea Lilly and Grevellias were planted. The final result was a magnificent natural bush backyard which can be admired from the pool area or while taking a peaceful stroll through the garden.
